Und nochmal ein HardockStudiotrack/Livetrack-Gemisch, das DeRock auf die Menschheit loslässt.

Nach der Reunion gibts mit diesem Silberling erst mal was für die sehnlichst wartenden Fans der Hardrock/Heavyrock-Combo KEEL. Musikalisch bewegen sich Keel irgendwo zwischen den Ösi-Dinos KROKUS und Heavyrock-Acts wie FASTER PUSSYCAT (falls das jemandem noch was sagt), also relativ straighter, erdig-lehmig stampfender US-Heavyrock.

Für Genrefans, die auf Mitgröhl-Shout-Refrains der marke "Die Fighting" oder "Evil wicked mean and nasty" stehen sicher eine brauchbare Scheibe. Mich haben besonders die deftige Ballade "Die Fighting" sowie das fetzige "Rock'n'Roll Animal" überzeugen können, der Rest ist mir zu seicht, zu platt, zu abgenudelt ... immer wieder dieser olle "Let's do nasty things ... we are so wicked"-Unterton geht mir ziemlich auf die neuronale Peripherie. Und so toll klingen die Live-Tracks auch nicht. Und wann lernt DeRock endlich mal die Grundregeln der Artwork-Gestaltung (von den Covern mal abgesehen ... warum verwendet man hier bei der Auflistung der Songs einen Schriftsatz, der in Großbuchstaben noch unleserlicher daherkommt, als er es ohnehin schon ist und bei dem man die "1" von einer "4" nicht unterscheiden kann.) 1 Punkt

Love it or leave it. Above average US Heavyrock stuffed with those dumb mainstream heavyrock image slogans like "let's do nasty things" or "we are evil, wicked and soooooo mean". The music is ok, the live tracks are ok as well. Fans of bands like KROKUS and FASTER PUSSYCAT etc will like this album ... I don't like it very much because this kind of heavyrock never has been attractive for me. One last thing regarding the artwork: Dear DeRock label ... your cover artwork has never been that attractive ... ok, I can live with that but why the hell are you using a font (on the back of the CD) which is unreadable in capital letters (as is nearly everything) and where the "1" looks exactly like a "4" ??? 1 point
