For real verbindet groovingen Akustik-Guitar-Rock mit trip-hop-rappigem Flair, wie man ihn von TRICKY gewohnt ist. Auf den anderen Track wird ambienter TripHop-Rap (Scrappy love) vermischt mit Gangster-Rap (Bom bom diggy), südländischem Ambiente (Contradictive), Drum'n'Bass (She said, Call me), Rap (I like the girls), freakigen Samples (Hot like a sauna) und brazzelnden Metal-Samples (Hot like a sauna - metal mix).

Tricky wie er leibt und lebt. Freakig und jederzeit im Niemandsland zwischen Trip Hop, Drum'n'Bass und Rap. Für TRICKY-Fans eine absolut gute Wahl, mir dominiert der Rap-Anteil zu stark, was die Scheibe eher hektisch als trip-hop-floatend macht. Wertung: 4

This is TRICKY like we all know him. Freakin' around in the twilight zone between Trip Hop, Drum'n'Bass and Rap. And again TRICKY is experimenting with genres, i.e. gangsta-rap (Bom bom diggy), hispanic guitar (Contradictive), Drum'n'Bass (She said, Call me), Rap (I like the girls), weird samples (Hot like a sauna) and technosonic metal-samples (Hot like a sauna - metal mix). TRICKY fans will love it, Trip Hop'pers should check it out. For me the rap is too dominant ... making this album too restless to become a floating trip hop album (but that's we're used of TRICKY). 4 points
