BALTIMORE bieten auf ihren fünften Longplayer schnellen straighten Hardrock und melodischen Heavyrock im Stile alter DEEP PURPLE Kracher und moderner GLENN HUGHES Scheiben. Aufgefahren werden aber auch Blues-Elemente (z.B. Indecision, schnurgerade Stampfer (Emancipation), groovender AOR (Retribution) und jazzig-bluesige Auflockerung Superman.

Nicht weltbewegend neues, aber dank der einzigartigen verrauchten Stimme BJÖRN LODINS eine sehr wohlige Scheibe ... nicht nur für die Fans der Bands, die ich zum Vergleich genannt habe.

BALTIMORE from Sweden are a band for the fans of Glenn Hughes and Deep Purple. Their fifth longplayer "Original sin" contains fast and straight hardrock mixed with melodic heavyrock in the style of old DEEP PURPLE (their fast songs) and modern albums of GLENN HUGHES. Surprising songs are some blues elements (Emancipation), groovin' AOR (Retribution) and some jazz (Superman). This album offers nothing spectacularly new but thanx to the raw and smoky voice of Björn Lodins it creates some very comfortable atmosphere.
