Bralalalala "Well come to the galaxy" english summary

Schon irgendwie abgefahren. Was auf dem Cover ohne genaues Hinsehen aussieht, wie eine Lee Aaron frisch von der Streckbank ;-) enpuppt sich als Sänger einer rundum durchgeknallten Band namens BRALALALALA - 4 mal LA, wer's ohne Durchzählen wissen will ;-). Das Konzept: Ein Sänger , der auch vor Frauenklamotten nicht Halt macht und thrashige Mucke im Stile early-Anthrax. Hinter dem Spuk steckt Bret alias "Brala", der in San Francisco aufgewachsen, dann jedoch nach Dänemark abgewandert ist.

Das Booklet entpuppt sich ebenfalls als "aus dem Rahmen fallend". Die Schrift sieht aus, wie in eine Schulbank eingeritzt ... hat was. Man würde es sich jetzt viel zu einfach machen, das Ganze als dummen Scherz und 08/15-Trash abzutun, denn dazu weht viel zu oft der Anthrax-Flair, der in den 80ern den Thrash revolutionierte. Andererseits bieten BRALALALALA (waren das jetzt 4 ?) auch nicht gerade den Überhammer. Liegt wohl daran daß ich mit Thrash wenig anfangen kann. Die Songs allerdings sind vielschichtig, grooven deftig und sind bei weitem kein simples Drauf-Los-Gedresche.

Mir gibts nix, aber wer sich vorstellen kann, wie eine unveröffentliche Demo von ANHTRAX im Duett mit leichten Einflüssen der SUICIDAL TENDENCIES klingt, der sollte BRALALALALA mal anchecken. Wertung: 3

That's an idea. Put the singer into female clothes - so that he looks like a stretched LEE AARON ;-) -, call the band BRALALALALA (it's 4 times LA) and play damn heavy and thrash metal. Lots of the songs, especially The present is the mean remind of the early days of ANTHRAX. Somehow that's headbanging fun and evil party metal, but as I am not a big fan of thrash metal it's not an album that will hit my ears very often. If any thrash-metalheads visit our website and read this review, I can only tell them: if you like early Anthrax and the real heavy tracks of the early SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, then BRALALALALA will be a neck breakin' addition to your CD collection. 3 points
