Bride Adorned "The grey eminence" english summary

Aus Finnland erreichte mich die zweite Demo des 1997 gegründeten Sextetts BRIDE ADORNED ... und ich nehms schon mal vorweg. Wow !

Leck mich am Ärmel ... welch ein Underground-Opus ! 4 Songs voller erhabener Mystik, hoher und einfühlsamer Spielkunst, Majestätik und Tiefe. Sollte ich BRIDE ADORNED mit anderen Bands vergleichen, dann käme mir folgender Satz in den Sinn: "LANVALL meets LUCA TURILLI meets STRATOVARIUS". Der aufmerksame Leser malt sich jetzt schon ein Klangbild bestehend aus melodischem Speedmetal, archaischem Powermetal und epischen Chor-Arrangements ... richtig gemalt. 4 männliche Vocals (die der Bandmitglieder) unterstützt von 4 weiblichen Stimmen umrahmen den kraftvollen Melodic Metal. Sänger Tuomas ähnelt dem gutem Timo Kotipelto, erreicht dessen Sicherheit und Präzision bei weitem noch nicht ... macht aber nix, denn es dominieren ja die kunstvollen Chor-Arrangements.

Am Solo-Gesang noch etwas feilen (geht auch im Studio) und dann Plattenvertrag .... aber schnell ! Wertung: 8

BRIDE ADORNED from Finland have sent us their second demo-CD "The grey eminence" and what a smasher it is ! 4 songs full of majesty, glory and mystic atmosphere. Compared to other bands BRIDE ADORNED sound like LANVALL meets LUCA TURILLI meets STRATOVARIUS" ... so you get melodic speedmetal, archaic powermetal and extremely epic choir arrangements. The choir consists of 4 male and 4 femal voices. Singer Tuomas sounds a bit like Timo Kotipelto, even if Tuomas needs some more training and a bit more breath ... but that's not a problem at all 'cause the mighty choir arrangements create such a haunting and beautiful atmosphere. It's just a matter of time that BRIDE ADORNED will break out of the underground ! Great ! 8 points
