Cain's Alibi "Sanctified" english summary

CAIN'S ALIBI ... das ist purer, mitreissender, kraftvoller, straighter, rhythmischer Metal aus den Staaten.

So macht Metal Spaß. Fetter Bass, druckvolle Drums, gute Vocals, griffigen Metal-Refrains, grimmige Riffs, leicht progmetallische Anleihen und ansonsten eben geballte Kraft ... und das alles in bestechendem Sound. Mit Songs wie Guilty of Humanity und Rise up setzen sich die Jungs drei gewaltige Denkmäler. Stilistisch reihen sich CAIN'S ALIBI irgendwo zwischen OZZY OSBOURNE, MEGADETH und METALLICA ein ... und als obs nix wäre gibts mit Live by the sword noch eine kleine "Crystal Ann/Alison Hell"-Homage. Millenium drum ist allerdings etwas zu trendy ausgefallen ... aber darüber kann man getrost hinweg sehen.

Im Gegensatz zur Meinung vieler anderer, die SHADOWKEEP als Metal-Überraschung des Jahres abgefeiert haben, vergebe ich diesen Pokal an CAIN'S ALIBI. It's not a trick, it's metal ! Wertung: 7

CAIN'S ALIBI ... that means raw, powerful, straight in the face heavy metal from the USA. This is how metal sounds enjoyable ... big bass, powerful drums, good vocals, balanced riffing and raw power ... in above average sound quality. Songs like Guilty of humanity and Rise up should be consired CAIN'S ALIBI classics right from the start. The style of the band is somewhere between OZZY OSBOURNE, MEGADETH and METALLICA and if you listen to the intro of Live by the sword you'll be reminded of "Crystal Ann / Alison Hell" for sure. Many people think SHADOWKEEP are the metal surprise of 2000 ... for me CAIN'S ALIBI belong to the same category. 7 points
