Pretty Maids "Carpe diem" english summary

Die dänischen Melodic Metaller PRETTY MAIDS sind auch nicht totzukriegen ...

Geboten bekommt man auf "Carpe diem" guten, kraftvollen Melodic Metal an der Grenze zum Heavyrock. Grunchig, zeitlos, schnörkellos und rundum gelungen. Ronnie Atkins Stimme ist wieder einmal rauh und bärig und hat über all die Jahre nichts von ihrem Reiz verloren. Das Album enthält z.B. mit Wouldn't miss you und Tortured spirit und For once in your life drei hervorragende Rocker, die die Melodik der früheren Maids-Tage aus den Boxen prügeln. Ansonsten gibts Melodic Metal der Qualitätstufe PRETTY MAIDS.

Gut ! Dennoch haben die PRETTY MAIDS für mich nach "Future world" und "Jump the gun" irgendwie ihren herausragenden Reiz verloren. Wertung: 6

The melodic metalheads from Denmark are back with another album. "Carpe diem" is the new release of the PRETTY MAIDS. What you get is what you can expect from a band like this. Well done melodic metal ... timeless, well performed and without big mistakes. Three great rockers of this album are Wouldn't miss you und Tortured spirit and For once in your life. Good album ... although the PRETTY MAIDS somehow bore me since "Jump the gun". 6 points
