Autumn Tears "various albums" english summary

AUTUMN TEARS werden Euch wohlige Gänsehaut über den Rücken jagen, Euch das Blut in den Adern gefrieren, das Herz aufgehen und alle Alltagssorgen vergessen lassen !

Für dieses Review lag uns eine Compilation vor, die rein für Werbezwecke bestimmt ist. Unsere Aufgabe ist es nun also, Euch die Musik von AUTUMN TEARS vorzustellen. Wer sich bereits mit Avantgarde-Neoklassik-Bands wie ELEND oder rein akustischen Düster-Bands wie EMPYRIUM beschäftigt hat, ist bei AUTUMN TEARS schon ziemlich richtig. Zieht man von ELEND die krasse Endzeitstimmung und von EMPYRIUM die Monotonie ab und fügt einen Hauch folk/mittelalter-angehauchten Avantgarde-Gothic Darkwave hinzu, so erhält man einen treffenden Eindruck von der Musik dieses Ausnahme-Trios. Während der gesamten Spieldauer kommen fast aussschließlich epischer und geheimnisumwitterter Gesang (meist weiblich), Klavier und Keyboards zum Einsatz. Nur vereinzelt melden sich dezente Percussion und Streicher zu Wort. Die Ausdrucksstärke alle Kompositionen machen AUTUMN TEARS zu einem Muß für Fans von Bands wie ENYA, STOA, EMPYRIUM, ELEND, DEAD CAN DANCE, ja sogar für Fans von NIGHTWISH (sofern sie gänzlich ohne Metal auskommen).

Magische Gesangsduette, mystische Reisen und romantisches Schweben durch das Niemandsland zwischen Tod und Leben sind die Belohnung für all jene Kreaturen, die offen für wirklich große Musik sind ! Wir können jedes Album von AUTUMN TEARS uneingeschränkt empfehlen ... die absolute Granate scheint jedoch das Album "Act 3" zu sein ! Zugreifen und entführen lassen ! Wertung: 9

For this review we got a promotional compilation of the music of AUTUMN TEARS. Our task is to describe you the music of this trio. If you know avantgarde classic bands like ELEND or acoustic/piano-focussed goth bands like EMPYRIUM, you're on the right way to love AUTUMN TEARS. If you take away the apocalyptic noise from ELEND and subtract the monotonous atmosphere of EMPYRIUM abnd mix the remains together and add a bit folk and a bit medieval atmosphere with some darkwave elements, you get the music of AUTUMN TEARS. Epic female vocals (2 great voices), piano and sometimes percussion and strings make the music of these three people outstanding, highly emotional and ... pure magic !

If you like bands like ENYA, STOA, EMPYRIUM, ELEND, DEAD CAN DANCE you will get addicted to AUTUMN TEARS ! From what I've heard on this compilations, all albums of the band are recommendable, but the real masterpiece seems to be the album "Act 3". 9 points
