Das Debütalbum von BLACK SYMPHONY hatte ja schon für Furore gesorgt. Jetzt gibts mit "Tears of blood" den zweiten Paukenschlag des Quintetts.

Vielschichtiger, druckvoller, packender und abwechslungsreicher kann melodischer PowerMetal kaum sein. Das vorliegende Teil brettert, holzt, groovt und steckt voller toller Momente. Egal ob Kracher wie Tears of blood, beklemmende Refrains der Marke Take me down (ein hervorragend groovender Metaltrack), die packende Schauer-Ballade Death, das höchstmelodische Burned, Nackenbrecher wie Left in confusion oder düstere Pulsare a'la Into the dark .... BLACK SYMPHONY haben ihren eigenen Stil intensiviert und perfektioniert.

BLACK SYMPHONY balancieren perfekt zwischen leicht progressivem Powermetal und aggressivem MelodicMetal. Da die Mitte Oktober 2001 erscheinende CD auch noch eine Bonus-CD mit den Coverversionen Blue eyes (THE WHO), Smoke in the water (DEEP PURPLE), zero the hero (BLACK SABBATH), deliverance (QUEENSRYCHE) enthält, kann man mit "Tears of blood" als Metalfan nichts falsch machen !

BLACK SYMPHONY have intensified and improved their unique style. BLACK SYMPHONY found a great balance between progressive powermetal and aggressive melodic metal.
