Als Christina Lux im Alter von 13 die Band GURU GURU bei einer Probe erlebt, war es um sie geschehen. Sie schnappte sich die Gitarre ihres Vaters ... der Rest ist Geschichte. Bis dato hat Christina u.a. mit Edo Zanki, der Jule Neigel Band, Jon Lord, Mick Karn zusammengearbeitet und agierte in der Harald Schmidt Show als Begleitung von Bands wie Grace Jones, Nina Hagen, Gabrielle und einigen anderen.

Das vorliegende Album "Pure love" enthält zwei Studiotracks sowie sieben Livetracks (in bestechender Qualität), die im Stadtgarten Köln bzw. dem Jazzclub Minden mitgeschnitten wurden. Fans von Akustikrock mit samtweicher Gänsehaut-Frauenstimme kommen während der abwechslunsgreichen 45 Minuten voll auf ihre Kosten. Es gibt beschwingte Songs wie z.B. Best friends, leise Balladen (z.B. Liar) aber auch kraftvolle Stücke wie beispielsweise Love is und eine funkige Nummer (Let it flow). Daß sie mit ihrer Stimme variantenreich umzugehen weiß, beweist Christina mit Late at night.

Wer auf einfühlsame Akustikgitarre und den einfühlsamen Gesang einer tollen und samtenen Frauenstimme steht, der kommt um Christina Lux nicht umhin. Progger und Metaller fallen bei dieser CD durchs Raster.

Christina's new album "Pure love" features clean acoustic guitar and warm'n'soft female vocals.
Two of the tracks are studio tracks, the remaining seven tracks are live recordings (in great quality), recorded in the Stadtgarten of Cologne and the jazz-club Minden. Fans of acoustic rock with soft and sensous female vocals get 45 minutes of great emotional music. The album contains swingin songs (Best friends), soft ballads (Liar) and more powerful songs like Love is and even a funky track Let it flow. A good album, certainlynot suitable for most proggers and metalheads.
