Prologue / Vorab

Für ihren neusten Release "Shadows of life" konnten DR.SIN den guten Mike Vescera vors Mikro zerrren.

Rezension

Fazit

Wertung: 5

Summary

DR.SIN are told to be one of Brazil's premier melodic progmetal bands. Now they were able to hire Mike Vescera as vocalist for their new release "Shadows of light". DR.SIN seem to combine melodic rock and melodic metal to a highly interesting and entertaining mixture ... at least that's what I thought during the opener Time after time, which starts with evil riffing and groovin' beats. Great track ... but one of the few tracks which could make me bang my head. Miracles & Dreams is nicely done melodic rock groover, What now a well done downtempo track .. but that's all I could spot on this release. The production sounds good, the artwork looks terrible. Melodic rock/melodic metal fans get an average album here .. too much groove, too less soul. 5 points
