ECSTASY IN NUMBERS sind eine bzgl. ihres Könnens noch viel zu unbekannte Band. Frickelprogger werden hier zwar nicht bedient, aber wer auf melodischen Jazz mit relaxten progressiven Einflüssen im Zeichen des Artrock steht, muss sich mit dieser Band vertraut machen, denn das Trio beweist schon auf Tracks wie Cruisin, Glass Hummingbird, Spellbound und Rush Hour technisch und songdienlich abgeklärtes Gespür. Was die Jungs hier an leisen, jazzig-komplexen und niemals überfordernden Tönen anschlagen, ist wirklich beachtenswert.

Nichts für die straighte Fraktion. Wer auf progressiven Jazz (oder jazzigen Prog) steht, kommt langfristig nicht um ECSTASY IN NUMBERS drum herum. Weiter so !

Why the hell are ECSTASY IN NUMBERS still unknown over here ? The band plays melodic jazz combined with relaxed progressive rock and artrock.
Take the tracks Cruisin, Glass Hummingbird, Spellbound and Rush Hour for example ... especially these songs are on a high technical level ... but the songs are still songs because he guys succeed in focussing on silent, jazzy tunes that don't get annoying or too complex. If you like prog jazz or jazz prog ;-) you have to evaluate this album !
