Bisher konnte ich mich eigentlich mit EDHELS sehr gut anfreunden. Was jedoch diese Zusammenstellung betrifft, bin ich etwas irritiert, denn so richtig überzeugt mich hier kein einziger Song. Das mag vielleicht am uninspirierten Gesang liegen, oder am kratzbürstigen Sound. Martha ist als Opener schlichtweg ungeeignet, denn der Track wirkt unrund und ist einfach nicht eingängig. Genauso ergeht es allen anderen Songs.

Sorry Jungs, aber mit diesem Release habt Ihr Euch leider keinen Gefallen getan. Wohl nur für knallharte EDHELS-Fans reinhörenswert.

The french band EDHELS have released "Universal", a compilation of some new studio and live tracks. Up to now I liked everything of EDHELS ... but I can't understand this release. I could not find a single inspiring song on the CD. The CD comes in weak sound and with vocals that can't create any atmosphere ... seems to be a CD for EDHELS-collectors only.
