Ein Wort: Kunst ! GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR beherrschen es wie kaum eine andere Band, zeitgenössische Musik mit progressiven Einflüssen, sich effektvoll entwickelnden psychedelischen Zyklen und Klangcollagen aus Außenaufnahmen unter einen Hut zu bringen, ohne einen Schritt zu weit zu gehen. Immer wieder gibt es heimelige Passagen mit Klavierakkorden, Akustikgitarre, Geige oder Trompete, die eine komfortable Wärme und Tiefe ausstrahlen.

Musik-Kunst in höchster Vollendung. Love it or hate it. I love it ! Pflichtkauf. Wertung: 9

Sometimes there are CDs that can be recommended just because of being unique. GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR are art ! This band mixes contemporary music, progressive incredients, gently developing psychedelic loops and sound collages (from outdoor recordings) to a haunting combination of piano chords, acoustic guitar, violin, trumpet, rock and psychedelic noise full of comfortable warmth and depth. Not everybody's taste so it's "Love it or hate it". In my opinion this is an outstanding album ! 9 points
