METALIUM haben rechtzeitig zur Weihnachszeit eine packendes Live-Paket herausgebracht. Das Paket "Metalian attack Part 1" gibts einmal als "Live CD, Live DVD, Comic" oder "Live CD, Live VHS-Video, Comic".

Zum Review lag uns die VHS-Version des Pakets vor. Die Audio-CD enthält 33 Minuten Heavy Metal in Live-Reinkultur. 7 Tracks bringen die Metal-Hütte zum kochen.
Der Sound ist makellos, die Songauswahl bricht die Membran aus den Boxen ... natürlich vor allem die Hymne Metalium, die Ballade Prophecy und der Kracher Free Forever. Als Bonustrack gibts die Piano-Version von Dust in the wind.
Das Video enthält eine ca. einstündige Dokumentation mit Livemitschnitte (u.a. Fight, Smoke on the water, Dream of doom, Metalium, Metalians, Steel Avenger, Free forever), Proberaumaufnahmen, Backstage-Videoschnipsel und einiges mehr.

Die Musik von METALIUM liegt mir nicht unbedingt, aber wen kümmerts ... METALIUM-Fans bekommen ein interessantes Paket.

German metalheads METALIUM have released a nice package for their fans, consisting of a live audio EP, a live VHS video (or DVD) and a Metalian-comic. The audio CD contains 33 minutes metal live with 7 live tracks. The sound is ok, and the song selection will enlighten the face of METALIUM fans. There's also a bonus track, the acoustic version of Dust in the wind.
The video contains 60 minutes of backstage footage, live videos (i.e. Fight, Smoke on the water, Dream of doom, Metalium, Metalians, Steel Avenger, Free Forever), rehearsals and some other funny things.
METALIUM's metal is not my kind of taste, but fans of this band get a great package.
