[o3] "Without Face" english summary

[o3] aus Estland stehen für Alternativen Metal oder Melodischen Core, wie man's sieht.

Auch mit ihrer neuen 4-Track EP zeigen [o3], dass sie zurecht zur Speerspitze der estnischen Alternative Metal-Bewegung zählen. Im Stile von THERAPY, KORN, HELMET, ALICE IN CHAINS und RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE powert das Trio die vier Songs in die Lautsprecher und hoffentlich auch endlich in ein Label oder ein Alternative-Compilation wie z.B. die "Hörsturz"-Sampler-Reihe von Warner + Visions. Druckvolle + knackige Riffs, fetzender Alternative-Beat und gute Solo-Gitarre grungen und holzen. Mit Invisible game ist gesanglich eine kleine Enttäuschung am Start ... musikalisch brettert das Teil wie Hölle. Mit ihrer Interpretation von Saint's in Hell sind [o3] übrigens auch auf dem JUDAS PRIEST-Sampler des estnischen Labels Guano Records vertreten. Schade nur, dass während des Songs die Drums kurzzeitig aus dem Takt zu kommen scheinen.

Nix für Metaller und nix für Progger. Für Fans von Melodic Core und Alternative Metal sind [o3] weiterhin ein heißer Geheimtip ! Wertung: 5

[o3] from Estonia play alternative metal and melodic core. With their new 4-track EP [o3] deliver the proof why they are on top of the estonian alternative metal wave. In the style of THERAPY, KORN, HELMET, ALICE IN CHAINS and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE the three people are powering their songs into the speakers and hopefully into a label deal. Tight riffs, crackin' alternative beat and well-dono solo-guitar are giving the grunge and power. THe should enhance vocals and drumming a little bit, but overall [o3] are still a secret recommendation for fans of melodic core and alternative metal. I wonder why a compilation like "Hoersturz" does not feature such bands ... 5 points
