Die vorliegende CD ist geprägt von wunderschönen Keyboardsounds und melodischen Gitarrenspiel. Auch die Stimme der Sängerin Saff Edye paßt hervorragend zum Gesamtsound. Als musikalische Richtung würde ich grob PENDRAGON und die älteren MARILLION zählen, wobei gesagt werden muß, daß STEALING THE FIRE keine bloße Kopie sind! Auch die Produktion geht in Ordnung, wenn man bedenkt, daß dies die erste Veröffentlichung ist.

Wer auf schönen, melodischen Progrock steht, muß hier einfach zugreifen!

The album "Hot ice and wondrous rope snow" of STEALING THE FIRE offers great neoprog, highly suitable for fans of PENDRAGON and early MARILLION. The sound is dominated by beautiful keyboard-sounds and melodic guitar-playing. The good voice of singer Saff Edye goes with the sound very well. If you like neoprog and melodic progrock, you'll like this disc !
