TENHI klingen wie das sanfte Hineingleiten eines Holzkahns in einen vernebelten Fjord. Träge schippert der Kahn, begleitet von akustischer Gitarre, Drums, Keyboardflächen und nachdenklichem Gesang ins Undurchdringliche Nichts. Im Gegensatz zu den Labelkollegen NAERVAER entfalten TENHI ihre Songs stimmungsvoll, schlüssig und rundum angenehm (Morrow). Northern lights lässt die entspannte Atmosphäre angenehm aufleben ... quicklebendige Guitarakkorde, begleitet von Violine und einer Maultrommel. Während Glacial waters kommt sogar noch Flötenklang ins Spiel. Das Album weist zwar einige Längen auf, gewinnt jedoch vor allem im letzten Drittel durch das dramatische Piano-Spiel stark an Klasse.

Angenehme 50 Minuten mit atmosphärischen, angedunkeltem Guitar-Rock.

| Summary |
TENHI sound like the soft waves of a foggy scandinavian fjord. Acompanied by acoustic guitar, drums, keyboards and sensitive vocals you drift away into the moist darkness. Compared to their label colleagues NAERVAER, TENHI manage to create tight and atmospheric songs ... sometimes with violin and fresh acoustic guitar playing. The first half of the album has some weak parts in it but the second half is able to compensate these weak points especially because of the dramatic piano. Overall "Kauan" is a comfortable dark guitar rock album.
