"Heaven machine" bietet entspannenden 70er-Instrumental-Prog am Rande von Electro, Ambient und World-Music. Bestritten wird das Ganze zumeist von analogen Synthesizerklängen, stehenden Gitarren, Moog, dezentem Bass und Drumcomputer. Prog-Orgasmen wird der taktwechselzählende Musikfanatiker hier nicht erleben, aber dafür erhält er eine tolle, stimmige, abwechslungsreiche CD, die die müde Seele mal zur Ruhe kommen lässt, zumal der gute Gayle den Hörer nicht mit Analog-Sounds an die Wand drückt, sondern diese sehr stimmungsdienlich einsetzt. Besonders erwähnenswerte Highlights sind das niedliche Italian horror movie soundtrack, das bedrohliche Kosovo, das elegisch dahinschwebende Floating arpeggios sowie das magische Gebirgsnebel-Epos Free Tibet.

Angesichts der Tatsache, daß von dieser CD nur 250 Stück produziert wurden heisst es: Leinen los und das Teil besorgen. Wertung: 7
