VLE ist ein Projekt, das im July 2001 geschaffen wurde. Hinter dem Projekt steht eine Person, die sich selbst "The VLE" nennt.

Auf dem Programm stehen ambient-elektronische, dunkelromantische Soundscapes. Dezente Percussion, breite Keyboardflächen, feinfühlige Gitarre, spaciger Lärm und jederzeit stimmige Harmonien bestimmen den Sound von VLE. Während Kano eher ruhiger Natur ist, brät Freedom to fly einem gewaltige Riffs durch die Magengrube, während man dem Sonnenuntergang entgegenfliegt. Dasselbe gilt für das packende Behold the night/Beyond sunsets, das sich fast nahezu unbemerkt weiterentwickelt, bis die düster-verzerrten Metal-Vocals einsetzen. 3 in 5 ist ein mit Reverse-Effekten gespickter düsterer Ambient-Track, der ganz ohne Metalelemente auskommt. Drift ist ebenfalls mehr in die Ambient-Soundscapes-Ecke einzuordnen, während der Schlusstrack Stark in Richtung noisiger Soundscapes tendiert.
| Fazit |
Sicher nicht jedermann's Sache, aber Fans von instrumenteller Dunkelromantik im metallischen Electro-Ambient-Bereich sollten zugreifen.

| Summary |
VLE is a project created in July 2001 by a person called "The VLE". VLE offers ambient electronic dark soundscapes with keyboard carpets, sensitive guitarplaying, spacy noise and comfortable harmonies. Kano is a very calm track, Freedom to fly contains smashing riffs combined with beatutiful sunset-atmosphere. This also goes for Behold the night/Beyond sunsets which is a slowly evolving track.
3 in 5 is a dark ambient electro track with lots of reverse effects. Drift is again a dark ambient soundscapes track and Stark is a noisy soundscape. This might be not everybody's taste but fans of instrumental dark ambient soundscapes simply must check out VLE !
