Bei HOLOCHAUST steht True Powermetal auf dem Programm. Die Band ist technisch versiert und der gespielte Schwermetall stampft sich geradewegs in die Herzen von Powermetal-Maniacs. Für eine Demo kommt die Scheibe in gutem Sound daher. Der Opener Holochaust is schnell, furios und hart während Guilty etwas gemächlicher daherkommt, jedoch mit einigen sehr durchdachten Gesangsarangements und instrumentellen Gimmicks aufwarten kann. Der Gesang ist ein Schwachpunkt des Albums, denn hier fehlt ganz klar die Metalkomponente. Das kurze Demo endet mit der Ballade Sad life philosophy, welches schöne Melodien, akustische Gitarre, einfühlsame Gitarre und gelungene Vocals bietet.

HOLOCHAUST sind eine vielversprechende Powermetal-Band, die durchaus von dem einen oder anderen Label ins Auge gefasst werden darf.

HOLOCHAUST from Finland are presenting their new demo. The music of HOLOCHAUST is true power metal. Technically sophisticated, the metal beats should
find their way right into the hearts of a power metalhead. For a demo the sounds comes very powerful and clear. Holochaust is a fast and furios
opener, Guilty of greed is a bit more downtempo and shows some well-thought vocal arrangements and varied instrumental gimmicks. A weak point of this album
are the vocals which should be more metal shouting than they are now. The last track of this demo is the ballad Sad life philosophy, featuring
beautiful melodies, acoustic guitar, sensitive and well-done vocals.
HOLOCHAUST are a very promising power metal band with good playing skills
which should be checked out by some labels.
